God is soooo good to me!! Of course, I could stop right there...but I won't.
God has given me a gift of teaching. God has also given me a love of sign language. NOW, He has combined them to allow me to teach sign classes to homescholars.
Next week, when my precious kiddos track back into school, I will begin my next class. How often do people get to do what they love, and make a little cashola for doing it? God knows I needed a job, and now He is providing me with one in which I can make my own schedule, so I can be there for my kids when they are tracked out of year round school. Now, that is love!!
I get that song in my head: OH, how He loves us so. Oh, how He loves us....how He loves us so!!! (David Crowder Band, fyi)
So, I know my Father loves me, cause He blesses my socks off!! How has God blessed your socks off? Go think about that......

Count Your Blessings
I`m casting my cares aside
I`m leaving my past behind
I`m setting my heart and mind on You, Jesus
I`m reaching my hand to Yours
Believing there`s so much more
Knowing that all You have in store for me is good
Is good
Today is the day
You have made
I will rejoice and be glad in it
Today is the day
You have made
I will rejoice and be glad in it
And I won`t worry about tomorrow
I`m trusting in what You say
Today is the day
(song by Lincoln Brewster)
Ok, today is cool and kind of gloomy with rain in the forecast. Are you still thanking God?
The bible says if we (His created people) don't praise Him, the rocks and trees will cry out. Can you imagine standing on the earth and listening to rocks and trees calling out praise to the Lord? Thankfully, they don't have to. I praise Him. I thank Him. I love Him. I am joyful in the many blessings He has given me...health, family, friends, work, food, clothes, car....and the list goes on forever.
There is a song from an old movie...Singing in the Rain. It is called Count Your Blessings. It speaks of counting your blessings instead of sheep when you can't sleep. When is the last time you counted your blessings?
Think about that...

I don't know about you, but I do not like it when my kids complain. Usually it makes me mad. I look at their toy closet overflowing, their dressers overflowing, and their bookshelves overflowing, and I think how dare you. They are abundantly blessed and they don't appreciate it.
I think God feels that way about us too. We have clothes to wear, food to eat, cars to drive, houses to live in, and friends, but we still want more. We seem to not be satisfied. God speaks to me through my children often, and it is usually the simplest of messages.
We have plenty. We are healthy. We are loved by family and by Him. What more could we ask for? Nothing.
